Bradford - October 31, 2008 --
The company behind the new £320 million shopping centre development in Bradford has opened its latest shopping centre in London yesterday.
Australian company Westfield, which is spearheading Bradford's Broadway project, swept aside fears over the current economic climate to launch its new £1.7 billion mall in the White City.
The development includes 265 stores, including Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser.
Councillor Adrian Naylor said, "its excellent news that the White City development has opened almost 100% let. That gives us a good feeling in terms of the way Westfield try to get tenants in place before they open."
