Poundland opens its first store in Northern Ireland and welcomes huge crowds

Poundland, Europe's largest single proce retailer, has opened its first store in Northern Ireland in CastleCourt.

David Coxon, Trading Director at Poundland said, "We are delighted to see that he shoppers of Belfast have welcomed us into their community.  Poundland offers amazing value on many household branded products."

Some of the customers' comments included "can't believe it's all only a pound"; "we're so pleased to have a Poundland in Belfast now"; "we've waited a long time for this."
