Bio: Fabfrocks was launched in early 2007 and got its name because of Tor’s obsession with wearing dresses: she almost never wears jeans or trousers! Tor started her career in online content writing and then began writing blogs on a freelance basis which also led her to start her own blog. Regular features on FabFrocks include; daily wear, Primark pick of the week, Fabfrocks at home, product reviews, and style advice.

Aside from fashion and literature Tor’s other interests include travel, Chinese history (she lived and taught English in China for six months) and experimenting (mostly unsuccessfully) in the kitchen.

Mood board Inspiration:
I wrote my MA on 60s fashion, so mod had to be the trend I picked for the mood board.

What is if your biggest fashion faux pas?
I have had several fashion faux pas (the time I cut my own hair into a fauxhawk is pretty memorable) but I think the worst is when I was going through my harajuku girl phase: head-to-toe pink (complete with legwarmers) was not a good look for me!

What is your favourite brand, or who is your favourite designer, and why?

My favourite designer is Betsey Johnson because she's so brave, and because the first designer thing I ever owned was a Bestsey Johnson handbag I still treasure. On the highstreet though, I love Topshop: there's always something in store I want to buy, and they're amazing at translating the catwalk trends.

What was the last fashion item you purchased?
The last thing I purchased was a chunky oversized boyfriend cardigan from mbyM. It looks great teamed with my ankle boots and leather panelled leggings for slouchy Saturday afternoon's around the shops!
