Voices for Hospices 2009
The bi-annual National Hospice event, Voices for Hospices is once again being hosted by Mary Stevens Hospice at St Mary's Church Oldswinford on 10 October. With performances by Viva Musica, Oldswinford Hospital School and Peters Hill Primary School choirs.

Lights Shine for Loved Ones, 6 December
Mary Stevens Hospice’s treasured remembrance tree shines brightly with thousands of twinkling lights during this year’s festive period. Each year the Hospice invites members of the community to dedicate a light in memory of a loved one, or as a gift for a member of their family or friend. Single or multiple lights can be sponsored for a minimum of £5 per light by completing the form found on their website, by calling into one of the Hospice shops or through the Fundraising office within the grounds of the Hospice.
The Tree of Light is lit each evening until the twelfth night in January, and is a source of peace and joy throughout the festive season.
A remembrance service will be held in the Hospice grounds around the tree, which will be lit during the service on Sunday, December 7 at 4.30pm, and all members of the community are invited to attend.
Santa Jog 2009, 13 December
Following the success of our first Santa Jog last December, when 150 Santas turned out to join in the festive fun at Mary Stevens Park, raising over £4400, the event is to be repeated for 2009.
Early registration is advised for this fun family event with a new 5k route around the scenic Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge. Join in the carols with the Brass band and choir around the bandstand, take part in the mass warm-up, and help to raise much needed funds for the Hospice.

Annual Clay Pigeon Shoot - Bring you friends and come and have a go at our third annual Clay shoot, which is set to take place at Kinver this year. With opportunities for beginners and professionals alike it looks like it is going to be an exciting day. Date to be confirmed.
