Shop mobility makes shopping more accessible when you need a bit of help. Free wheelchairs and scooters are available for hire from our shop mobility services at the Customer Relations Desk on the upper mall by Bhs & Primark. Before your visit, you should contact our Mobility Team so we can register your details and make sure we have the right equipment available for you.

To avoid disappointment and to reserve one of our electric wheelchairs or scooters up to 7 days in advance call us 01384 487911.

For Manual wheelchairs no prior booking is necessary.

When you arrive, please make sure you bring with you 2 forms of identification, one which confirms your name & address (e.g. most recent utility bill) and the other must include your photograph (i.e. passport or concessionary travel pass).

At Merry Hill centre we have nearly 10,000 free car park spaces availiable. We have allocated spaces for parent and child as well as parking for shoppers with disabilities. Parent and Child spaces can be found at the following entrances; Sainsburys, Harry Ramsdens, BHS multi storey car park and on the retail park near Mothercare World.

For ease of access to our Shop mobility service, we recommend you park next to the Odeon Cinema or on the undercover multi-deck car park near Bhs.
