Height Restrictions
All our car parks have a height restriction of 2.2m, with the exception of Car Park A which has a height restriction of 2.4m on the Lower Ground Floor near shopmobility. This area is designated as parking for Blue Badge holders only.
Blue Badge holders
Westfield Stratford City has been designed with disabled access in mind. Designated parking bays for people with disabilities are available in each car park. High-sided vehicles up to 2.4m for blue badge holders are catered for in Car Park A. The Lower Ground Level (P1) has suitable parking for these vehicles and is also the location for our shopmobility facility.

Road Closures & Diversions
As part of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games coming to Stratford, there will be changes to road access around the Olympic site to ensure the on going safety and security of both athletes and visitors. Westfield Stratford City is working closely with the local Councils as well as LOCOG to ensure our shoppers can still enjoy shopping at our centre with as few disruptions as possible.
* Please note that access via the Lea Interchange has now re-opened. Visitors can access Westfield Stratford City though Warton Rd, Penny Brookes Street and from the A12 via the Lea Interchange as normal. *
Olympic Park Vehicle Screening Plaza
Westfield Stratford City’s prestigious location means that the Olympic Park surrounds the perimeter of the shopping centre. This means that all cars travelling to Westfield Stratford City will drive directly through the Olympic Park – getting a first glimpse of some of the exciting venues along the way. In order to protect the security of the Park, and the London 2012 Olympic Games, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) will be operating random security checks on vehicles coming through the Park to Westfield Stratford City.
Vehicles will be selected at random and screened before continuing the short journey to Westfield Stratford City.This is a temporary measure and will be removed immediately after the Games in September 2012.
Whilst the checks have been designed to ensure minimal disruption to anyone travelling by car, we would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding about why these security checks are necessary. Members of Westfield Stratford City’s concierge team will be on hand at the screening areas if you have any queries.

• Penny Brookes Street
• Lea Interchange off the A12
