Nearly 3,000 local residents have helped us to build Westfield Stratford City.
As we move towards the centre opening in September of this year, there will be recruitment and training opportunities available in retail, leisure and hospitality for over 350 different employers.
Recruitment for most employers will not start in earnest until the summer. Keep an eye on our News & Media section for more announcements on retailers opening at Westfield Stratford City. If you are currently employed in the retail or hospitality sector, you will need to apply directly to these retailers.
If you are interested in working directly for Westfield, please visit our Westfield Careers website.
If you are currently not in employment and are looking to get into the retail or hospitality sector, then go to your local JobCentre Plus office to register your interest.
For local residents, the following job brokerage offices will also be able to give you advice on finding work and can register your interest for Westfield Stratford City:
Newham residents:
Newham Workplace, 64 Broadway, London, E15 1NT, T: 020 8430 4331
Waltham Forest residents:
Worknet, 2-4 Cathall Road, Leytonstone, E11 4LF, T: 020 8558 1558
Tower Hamlets residents:
Skillsmatch, 30 South Colannade, E14 5EZ, T: 020 7364 3727
Hackney residents:
On-site, Hackney Recruitment Centre, Hothouse, 274 Richmond Road, London, E8 3QW, T: 020 7275 7843
There are also training opportunities available for local residents not currently in employment to help them start their retail, leisure and hospitality careers. Visit your local brokerage to find out more.
When we open later this year, our on-site retail academy - the Skills Place - will be our permanent training centre for people working at the centre and their employers. It will also continue to help local people get the training they need to find their first job in retail, leisure and hospitality. The Skills Place will be managed on Westfield's behalf by Seetec.
