The founder of this eponymous gentlemen's outfitters initially set up in business by restoring and selling second-hand classic British clothing and accessories, with signature pieces harking back to bygone days. When demand outstripped supply, Jeremy Hackett used his Savile Row heritage to manufacture collections from new and the result is the Hackett we see today; a luxury lifestyle brand that caters for the elegant gentleman wishing to capture the quality and style of classic Britain. Hackett 's menswear and accessories cover formal, business, smart casual and sportswear. The shop also stocks high-quality children's clothing and accessories. A key staple of Hackett's 'Essential British Kit' is the famous Hackett Polo shirt. Originally not intended for the public, the shirt was requested so often by customers, who saw it worn by a Hackett sponsored Household Cavalry polo team playing out of Guards Polo Club, that it was introduced to the store and fast became an instant modern classic.
