Charity Shoe Drive – let’s break a record… in helping!

About the event
Christmas is a time for sharing kindness – that’s why Wroclavia invites you to join a special campaign that can change someone’s life. From December 1st to 17th, we are joining forces to support people experiencing homelessness, under the care of the St. Brother Albert Aid Society. Your shoes can give someone warmth, safety, and hope.
What is the campaign about?
Bring to Wroclavia any shoes you no longer wear, and together with the “Jak Nowe” (“Like New”) shoe repair workshop, we will restore them and pass them on to those in need. A simple gesture with great power!
How can you help?
- Go through your closet – choose warm, winter shoes in good condition (women’s, men’s, children’s). They may be used or new.
- Check their condition – please make sure the shoes are clean, with no greasy stains, tears, holes, cracks, or salt marks. The heels must not be deformed.
- Bring them to us – until December 17th, drop the shoes into the special container next to the reception desk on level 0 at Wroclavia, or deliver them to the “Jak Nowe” Shoe Repair Workshop at 11 Macedońska Street in Wrocław.
How to donate the shoes?
- Shoes should be clean, without a box or bag.
- Tie them together using the laces or Velcro so they stay in pairs.
- Place them in the designated container.
Next, they will be taken to the workshop, where they will be professionally cleaned and refreshed. Once all pairs are ready, we will donate them to people experiencing homelessness – those who need warmth the most during the winter days.
Will we break the record in helping together?
Every pair of shoes is real support. Join us and show that kindness has power!
Thank you for your involvement and big heart. ❤️
