Future You | 25 - 29 October
Calling all 12-24 year olds! From Saturday 25th to Wednesday 29th October, Westfield Stratford City will be transformed into a hub of creativity, connection, and opportunity. Future You is a five-day programme designed to inspire and empower young people through music, culture, and community-led activities.
In partnership with Social Ark, Newham Music, the London Borough of Newham Youth Outreach Team, Black Diamond Gym and Steel Warriors, the event offers a mix of workshops, live performances, and interactive experiences, all completely free to attend.

What's On:
Newham Music:
Join Toni Tones in partnership with Newham Music for an afternoon celebrating Music of Black Origin. Expect high-energy jam sessions where musicians can connect and create, followed by an open mic showcase backed by a live band. Whether you’re an experienced performer or just finding your voice, it’s a supportive, creative space to share your talent and be inspired. Young and emerging artists aged 12–24 are invited to perform, while those with less musical experience can join the free jam sessions to explore, experiment, and soak up the energy.

Social Ark:
Discover a collective of local creatives, changemakers, and social enterprises led by Social Ark, each championing empowerment, artistry, and community spirit. Newham Football
Show off your football skills with workshops from LB Newham Youth Empowerment Service. Take part in fun coaching sessions, interactive drills, and small-sided games designed for all skill levels. Develop your teamwork, ball control, and game sense through play, while having a blast on the pitch. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a budding pro!
Muay Thai
Step into the ring and feel the thrill of Muay Thai and boxing! Our session will feature live demonstrations by our members and fighters, showcasing the techniques and training we practice at the gym. Visitors can pick up a pair of gloves, throw some punches and kicks, and get a taste of the action in a fun, safe environment.

Calisthenics
Join Steel Warriors for an energetic 3-hour calisthenics taster session introducing people of all ages and abilities to the art of bodyweight training. Led by our experienced coaches, the session will showcase fun, accessible exercises and skills that build strength, confidence, and community. Participants can drop in at any time during the session to try out movements, learn safe techniques, and experience the positive impact of calisthenics in a welcoming, supportive environment.
