Westfield London has always played an important role within our community, and we are proud to continue providing our support to those services and organisations that need it at this time. In response to this crisis, our centre teams have engaged in a number of initiatives with local authorities and organisations to support our communities and ignite a movement of togetherness during this period of separation. Below are some of the #kindnesstogether initiatives we are currently running:
Free NHS Parking
We are delighted to be able to support the country’s efforts to battle Covid-19 by offering free parking to anyone who works for the NHS or one of our essential stores. Find out how to apply here.
Light It Blue
To show our appreciation to the NHS and all key workers, the centre will light up blue every Thursday.
Queen Charlotte's Hospital
To take care of those who are taking care of us we’ve provided Queen Charlotte’s Hospital with furniture to create a dedicated, comfortable space for staff to take a well deserved break in.
Community Care Packages
We’ve partnered with Marks and Spencer and Hammersmith and Fulham Council to support the delivery of essential care packages to vulnerable residents, including the elderly, sick, high risk families and homeless.
Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank
To assist with the expansion of the Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank, we have donated logistics equipment such as lockers, roll cages, boxes and cleaning equipment. The foodbank has recently relocated to Olympia London exhibition centre, following a 250% increase in demand.
The Bush Theatre is a world-famous home for new plays and an internationally renowned champion of emerging artists and playwrights, as well as a hub to all in the community and nearby charities. We are proud to have donated to the Bush Theatre at this difficult time to help these important community projects continue and to come back stronger than ever.
To get involved and keep the Bush Theatre running you can donate any amount, big or small, here.
