SHOPMOBILITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As the hirer and/or on behalf of a minor or person under my care, I fully understand and accept the following conditions of hire.

  1. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs require a deposit of £10 or for a valid form of ID to be left with Guest Services. Your deposit will be returned at end of the hire period.
  2. I will return the equipment no later than 30 minutes before the centre closes for the day
  3. I will use the equipment at my own risk
  4. I am a minimum of 16 years old
  5. I will NOT use the equipment without an able-bodied carer if I suffer from any condition which could impede my ability to safely use the equipment. I will inform training staff of any such condition
  6. The management of Westfield London retains the right to refuse, or cancel the hire of the equipment
  7. I will be responsible for the cost of damage to the equipment caused by me whilst the equipment is in my possession
  8. I will be liable for any injury or damage to any person or property as a result of, or in the course of, my use of the equipment
  9. I will indemnify Westfield London against any claims from persons injured or owners of property damaged as a result of, or in the course of, my use of the equipment
  10. I will NOT sit anyone else on the equipment during my hire session
  11. I will NOT let anyone else operate the equipment
  12. I will only use lifts to access the different levels within the centre, and will not attempt to use stairs or escalators
  13. I will not place items on the handles of the equipment or place anything weighing over 3 kilograms in or on the equipment
  14. Should I need to access a store, outside precinct or car park area, I will park the equipment safely against a store or solid wall to avoid any children climbing on the equipment and falling over the balustrade
  15. I will also make sure I remove the key and take this with me to avoid unauthorised use
  16. I will NOT alter the equipment in any way (i.e. by removing footrests, calf straps or any other fixed item currently on the equipment)
  17. I will NOT remove the equipment from the premises (which includes the car park area and outside precinct)
  18. I confirm that I am not over the designated weight limit of the scooter of 25st or 158kg
  19. All personal data submitted to Westfield will at all times be processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Policy https://uk.westfield.com/privacy-policy
  20. Westfield reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice

SENSORY PACK TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Hire of sensory packs is subject to availability and on a first served basis
  2. The sensory packs must always be used safely, in accordance with the usage guidelines shown at point of hire
  3. Children must be supervised at all times whilst using the sensory packs
  4. Sensory packs may only be used inside the Centre. Sensory packs cannot be taken off Westfield Premises
  5. Sensory packs must be returned to the Guest Services desk at least 30 minutes before the Guest Services desk closes
  6. The supervising adult is responsible for all costs, losses, and liabilities incurred as a result of any injury or damage to the child and/or themselves and/or property damaged incurred whilst the sensory pack is in their possession (including if the sensory pack is stolen)
  7. The supervising adult is responsible for all damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered by the Westfield Corporation Group as a result of any breach of these terms and conditions. This does not limit or affect Westfield Europe Limited’s (Westfield) responsibility to you for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or the negligence of its officers or employees
  8. The management of Westfield London retains the right, at any time, to refuse or cancel the hire of a sensory pack at its sole discretion
  9. Any unattended property is left at the supervising adults risk and Westfield assumes no liability for any theft, loss or damage to unattended property
  10. All personal data submitted to Westfield will at all times be processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Policy
  11. Westfield reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice
  12. These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts

BLUE BADGE PARKING VALIDATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Blue badge holders are permitted 4 hours free parking Monday – Sunday during opening hours.
  2. To validate parking please present your blue badge to one of the guest services desks during opening hours 10am – 9pm. 
  3. Blue Badge Holder must be present in order to have parking validated. Both sides of the Blue Badge must be shown. No exception.
  4. Blue Badge must be valid and within date.
  5. Additional parking charges outside of the 4 hour period can be paid at pay machines or at exit barriers.
  6. Blue Badge cannot be validated at the exit barriers.
  7. The Guest Service team reserve the right to inspect the blue badge. If the blue badge holder is waiting in the car a member of the Guest Services team will happily come to the vehicle to validate. 
  8. It is a criminal offence to misuse the badge, and doing so can lead to a £1,000 fine. If the badge holder is using the parking concessions as a passenger (as opposed to driving the car themselves), it is their responsibility to make sure that the driver is aware of the rules governing the scheme.
