Westfield Mall of the Netherlands – Visitor Guidelines
To ensure your visit to Westfield Mall of the Netherlands is as pleasant as possible, please note that these visitor guidelines apply throughout the shopping centre and its surrounding parking areas. By entering the premises, you agree to abide by the following rules. In case of any doubt regarding the specific areas these rules apply to, the official land registry boundaries take precedence.
The following activities are not permitted:
Presence and/or use of bicycles, mopeds, or other (motorised) vehicles. Exceptions apply to mobility aids such as mobility scooters.
Use of roller skates, skateboards, inline skates, (electric) scooters, remote-controlled toys, Segways, hoverboards, and similar devices.
Loitering or gathering in elevators, stairwells, toilets, parking areas, service zones, or surrounding outdoor areas without a valid reason.
Smoking or using e-cigarettes.
Consuming alcoholic beverages, except in designated areas such as licensed hospitality terraces.
Possessing, using, or trading drugs, nitrous oxide, or related substances.
Begging or unnecessarily approaching other visitors.
Giving public speeches.
Hosting (political) demonstrations or other group or individual activities, including games of chance.
Harassing or disturbing other visitors.
Conducting surveys without prior permission.
Distributing or displaying promotional materials (e.g., flyers, posters) without prior approval.
Soliciting or fundraising without consent.
Playing or broadcasting (amplified) music without permission.
Selling goods, taking photographs or filming without prior consent.
Bringing dogs or other pets, except for assistance dogs.
Engaging in disruptive or risky behaviour, including but not limited to running.
Leaving litter outside of designated bins.
Disposing of household waste in public bins.
Transporting goods using roll containers or cage trolleys (only hand trucks are allowed).
Possessing items used to commit shoplifting or other criminal acts. These items must be shown upon request from mall (security) staff.
Instructions from mall management or authorised (security) personnel must be followed at all times.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in a (partial) ban from the premises. In cases of doubt, unforeseen situations, or matters not covered by these guidelines, mall management and/or security staff are authorised to take the necessary measures to maintain safety and public order.
Entering the mall and its surroundings is at your own risk. We are not liable for any damage or theft of personal belongings. CCTV surveillance is in operation throughout the mall and parking areas for your and our safety. In case of criminal activity, the police will always be notified.
